The principle of operation of a mobile sludge tank is that the sludge from the washing complex is sent to a tank with a filter cloth stretched over its walls. The liquid part of the sludge passes through the fabric and enters the drainage channel to return to the beginning of the process, while the solid part remains inside the tank and is gradually compacted. If necessary, a coagulant is added to the sludge to accelerate the separation of solid and liquid. After the tank is full, several special sections are opened for the entry and unloading of the solid product by special equipment. At the same time, the second sludge tank is in operation, providing a continuous sludge filtration process.

The size and shape of mobile sludge collectors can vary, depending on the volume of liquid to be treated over a certain period of time and the size of the industrial site.
